Koshu-inden is a 400 year old form of traditional leather work in Yamanashi. It's made out of soft deer skin with Japanese lacquer applied, giving it a unique texture. There are different types of prints and a background for each. Dragonflies are the symbol of victory and it was originally printed on the Samurai's armor. The leather is very durable, making it suitable for daily use.
